#' @description To provide help provide consistency with analyses using
#' \pkg{grofit}, \pkg{growthcurve} includes convenience functions that allow
#' models to be fitted to tidy growth data using \pkg{grofit} (if installed).

#' These functions include:

#'     \item \code{\link{fit_growth_grofit_parametric}}: fit a curve using several parametric models. The best model is chosen by AIC.
#'     \item \code{\link{fit_growth_grofit_logistic}}: fit a logistic function to the data
#'     \item \code{\link{fit_growth_grofit_gompertz}}: fit a Gompertz function to the data
#'     \item \code{\link{fit_growth_grofit_gompertz.exp}}: fit a modified Gompertz function to the data
#'     \item \code{\link{fit_growth_grofit_richards}}: fit a Richards growth function to the data
#'     \item \code{\link{fit_growth_grofit_spline}}: fit data using smoothed spline

#' \code{\link{growthcurve}} object (also given the "grofit" class).
#' These objects include an object of \code{gcFitModel}, which is the result
