Description

The dataset of county social and economic characteristics, as well as a classification of economic dependence. A county's economic dependence falls into one of six categories: farming, mining, manufacturing, government, recreation, or non-specialized. A county's dependence is labelled with a '1'. Also included in the processed dataset is levels of low education, population loss, retirement migration, persistent poverty, and persistent child-related poverty, as well as census information. The dataset is categorized as an Economic Stability Determinant of Health.
