Resubmission

This is a resubmission. In this version I have:

• Reduced the length of the title.
• Changed the description of the package.
• Added reference of the package in the description.
• Updated the year of license.
• Changed the function to write information messages to the console from cat() to stop().
• Added \value to the .Rd files.
