Counts of grassland birds on 14 waterfowl production areas subjected to one of two treatments (cut or control). Cuts occurred after an initial observation year. Data are from Thompson et al. 2016.

character unique ID (station, waterfowl production area, year of survey)
total
double total count of grassland bird species within 100 m of the surveyer
wpa
character site (waterfowl production area)
year
double year of survey
trt
character identifying if the site was originally cut (=1) or served as a control (=0)
observer
character observer
I.trt
character equal to 1 if observation was after cutting and 0 otherwise
