Description

lung dataset contains information about survival in patients with advanced lung cancer from the North Central Cancer Treatment Group. Performance scores rate how well the patient can perform usual daily activities.

Format

lung is a tbl data frame with 228 observations on 10 variables.

Details

The 10 variables of the lung tbl data frame are the following ones:

• inst Institution code (numeric)

• time Survival time in days (numeric)

• status censoring status 1=censored, 2=dead (numeric)

• age Age in years (numeric)

• sex Male=1 Female=2 (numeric)

• ph.ecog ECOG performance score 0=good 5=dead) (numeric)

• ph.karno Karnofsky performance score rated by physician (numeric)

• pat.karno Karnofsky performance score (bad=0-good=100) as rated by patient (numeric)

• meal.cal Calories consumed at meals (numeric)

• wt.loss Weight loss in last six months (numeric)
