Overdispersion diagnostic within a test function

Description

Runs Overdispersion.test from within CPCAT or Dunnett.GLM and returns a single line of text for their information object. The state of the random number generator is saved and restored, so that enabling the diagnostic does not change the results of the calling function. Internal helper.

Usage

run.overdispersion.diagnostic(dat, settings)

Arguments

dat	Data frame with the columns Counts and Groups
settings	Either NULL/FALSE (diagnostic switched off), TRUE (default settings) or a named list with arguments that are passed on to Overdispersion.test

Value

Character string to be added to the information object, or NULL if switched off
