#'   \item{sta}{Station ID}
#'   \item{mode}{The research mode during which oceanographic sampling is done at this station. 
#'   This is a relic of the 2013 study design. "stout" referred to the most rigorous sampling effort. 
#'   "lite" stations were sampled in all research modes -- these are the stations we used in 2014-5.}
