Arguments

mat	expression matrix used in rowttestMatVec
vec	vec as used in rowttestMatVec
FUN	plotting function
geneSel	index for plotting; default is plotting all sorted by P
rowttestMatVec	rowttestMatVec object
type	type to be passed to plotContCat
maintagfunc	a function to compute additional information for main
