A function to download Bowtie and Picard tools for primary mapping of short reads and conversion of SAM to BAM format.
Reference mapping for Bowtie are also generated using miRBase precursors sets for Human Mouse and Rat.
Human, mouse and Rat gene-level scaffolds are also downloaded by sourceforge oneChannelGUI.extras
