Cut the requested regions into tasks
Description
One task is what a single worker owns from start to finish. Long regions
are split into segment_size pieces; short whole records are merged,
because reading record n of a file means skipping the first n - 1, so a
task per record would rescan the file once per record.
Usage
.tm_tasks(req, src, unit, segment_size, step)
Arguments
req
Regions from .tm_regions.
src
A source from .tm_source.
unit, segment_size, step
Task granularity.
Value
A list of tasks.
